It’s the most wonderful time of the year! And our family has been blessed with some of the most wonderful friends and neighbors ever! “Uncle Jimmy” next door is always willing to let us borrow a tool and lend a helping hand. The Salva family was invaluable this Summer and took Camden to football conditioning every day. The Hartlings were the first family to ever welcome us to the neighborhood and we are fast friends nearly 8 years later. Glad Tidings Neighbor Gifts
Tucked inside these cute little containers are crazy good brownies and packets of snack mix that are just perfect for a family movie night or dessert after dinner! Wouldn’t you love for the Bassetts to show up on your doorstep with treat-packed neighbor gifts? They really are so easy!
First, you’ll need a batch of these M&Ms Black & White Peppermint Brownies. Allow me to walk you through the layers of deliciousness:
- Sugar Cookie
- Chocolate Mint Brownie
- Chocolate Chips
- White Chocolate Drizzle
- M&Ms White Chocolate Peppermint candies
- Christmas Sprinkles
- Magic – I’m really convinced there is magic in there somewhere
While your brownies are setting (really, you are going to have to walk away for a little while), make a batch of Santa Snack Mix! It is no bake – yay! – and SO fun! Here is what I mixed up in a big bowl:
- 4 cups of Christmas Pretzels {seasonal salty crunchy goodness}
- 3 cups mini cookie cereal {You know, for Santa’s cookies & milk}
- 3 cups of mini chocolate sandwich cookies {they are black, like coal for anyone on the naughty list}
- 1 bag M&Ms White Chocolate Peppermint candies {Rudolph’s nose & snowballs}
To package the snack mix, scoop 1/2 cup into a small paper bag and seal it with washi tape. You can also use cello bags or zip top bags.
Two bags of Santa Snack Mix and 4 brownies fit perfectly in the Glad container! Bonus? The container is air tight, so the snack mix won’t get stale and the brownies will stay fresh as you make your neighbor gifts deliveries!
